Background:

Midaz Lasers Ltd is a spin out from the Photonics Group at Imperial College London. All IPR is now assigned to Midaz Lasers. Founders are Professor Mike Damzen and Dr Ara Minassian.

Midaz is a new company, but its laser technology and products are the outcome of many years of laser research and so the company can benefit from fast entry into its chosen markets and with modular products that are fit for purpose.

Our ability to turn laser innovation into practical and scalable industrial designs gives our Customer Partners and us an opportunity to make a real difference to industrial production efficiency and cost of ownership.

Our growing strength in the industrial laser micromachining market is supported by significant interest in our laser products from global customers. Ideally, our customers are manufacturers of laser processing systems for use in production of high tech components. Midaz is actively engaging with key market leaders by collaborating in laser trials to ensure that customers are satisfied with laser performance in their actual production environment.
